UPDATE: Bullet-casing mystery in police reports of Keaton Dupree Otis shooting / Lisa Loving and Brian Stimson, The Skanner, 1 June 2010 (the article states that though the log of the shooting that the police released states that Keaton Otis had gold-colored casings, the same report only states that silver-colored casings were found at the scene; There are also 2 witness statements at the end of the article, one of which is an African-American woman who stopped to watch and said that she could “see the front of OTIS from his belt to the top of his head and she knew he didn’t have a gun.”)
