Daryl Turner’s President’s Message column (page 1) discusses police bureau’s internal investigation into the Aaron Campbell killing and other internal investigations.
An open letter to Oregonian columnist Steve Duin, from retired Sergeant Karl McDade, argues that “All of the recent incidents [of police violence] to which you have referred have been created by police officers following their training.” (page 4).
